I hope you all are not tired of the crazy quilted Artist Trading Cards (ATC)
just yet. The class I taught for my local EGA group, Mississippi
NeedleArts, went very well and I was thrilled to see the diversity of the
finished products. Once again, EGA will be hosting an ATC swap at our
National Seminar in Naples, Florida this fall. Needless to say,
trading cards have been on my mind.
This was my first CQ ATC.
The back of this one is different from most that I have
made. I did it just like a real quilt back, by cutting a piece that
was 3" x 4", and then folding over the edges around my little quilt top,
mitering the edges and sewing it in place. It was a little fiddly with
the silk, but gave a very clean result.
