As advertised, Doodle Stitching: The Motif Collection, offers over four hundred easy embroidery designs that can be used in any embroidery project.  The book also comes with a companion CD.  Aimee Ray covers some of the basics of embroidery, much of which was covered in her first book Doodle Stitching.  The motifs are simple line drawings, covering a variety of topics: Alphabet, Asian Chic, Baby, Celebrations, Circus, Embellishments, Farm Animals, Flowers, Food, Fruits & Veggies, Garden Time, Space, Sweet Shoppe, Trees & Leaves, Under the Sea, Weather, Winged Wonders, Woodland Animals and Woodland Fairytale.  There are a couple of embroidered projects in the book, but clearly the focus is the motifs, which will prove valuable for most crazy quilters.
