CQMagOnline Media Kit:Information for SponsorsCQMagOnline is a free magazine for the crazy quilting community. We maintain an all volunteer staff and publish four times a year. January, April, July and October. Because of the nature of crazy quilting we have a spillover readership that includes most of the needle arts as well as beading, fabric painting, stamping and embellishing. The magazine has been published for over five years, although we had a slight name change in January 2005. Nora Creeach, our publisher, has written a general craft projects online newsletter since 1997 with a subscribership exceeding 20,000 email addresses and for over 2 years prior to that wrote a monthly column in a national print magazine for professional crafters. She has a strong personal belief in supporting arts and crafts and those companies that provide the needed materials. In the past, staff members have paid all of the general operating costs, but with the name change we incurred additional costs. To alleviate the financial strain on our staff, CQMagOnline and will accept a limited number of sponsors per issue. Sponsorship will be limited to two companies per issue, each with a different product line. Sponsor advertising are accepted on a first come basis. The sponsor page and contact information will be archived with the magazine issue for a period of several years, based on web space constraints. For this reason we ask that you do not mention prices in your ad copy unless you are willing to honor those prices past the one-year minimum. You may want to have your ad link back to a "special" page on your own site where you can control any changes needed for the length of time the issue remains online. The cost to sponsor one issue is twenty-five dollars ($25.00). This entitles you a single ad linked to your website. A small jpeg (up to 300 x 400 pixels), similar to a business card, will be placed on the index page of the sponsored issue and linked to your web site or advertising special. The first sponsor accepted per issue will be given the top position. Payment can be made to CQMagOnline through Rissa Root, either by check or via PayPal. Your payment will confirm and hold your ad space. Another method of promoting your business is to contribute product for review or as prizes for our Reader Showcase drawings.
