Lavender

To make the lavender sprigs, I used 600 denier silk twist from Cam Creations in med purple to make the lavender heads. I used a medium green DMC floss for the stems.

Start with making a bullion stitch with 8 wraps going vertical. Add bullion stitches with 8 and 9 wraps per bullion on each side working down until you have the desired lavender head size. Add a stem stitch from the bottom working halfway up between the lavender head. Make several lavender sprigs and “tie” with an organza ribbon for a bouquet!
