 Express yourself in your favorite CQ method. Construct a Crazy Quilt block, purse, tote, pillow, altered book page, covered box or any other CQ item that measures no less than six (6) inches and no larger than twelve (12) inches.

The item does not have to be square but must fit into a twelve (12) inch frame. Embellish to your heart's desire using any and all embellishment items and methods. Idea examples may be an Under Sea World, Fantasy Land, Garden of Delights, Fairyland or a Seasonal Theme. Let your imagination go!

There are two categories, Novice (under one year) and Experienced.

Submit three scans of your item - one of the completed item and two close up pictures of areas you wish to highlight. You may submit two items under the same category. Each person can be awarded one prize only.

Your item must have been created within the 2004 year and must be unpublished in printed or electronic media and must be an original work by you. No Round Robin projects will be accepted.

Judging will be based on fifty percent (50%) Composition and fifty percent (50%) Innovation.

The deadline for entries is December 1, 2004. Winners will be announced in the January Issue of 2005. Entries are to be submitted to:

There will be three prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd) awarded in each category.

We will have the big announcement of the prizes to be awarded in the July 2004 Issue of CQMagOnline.
