On June 26-27 Historic Cold Spring Village hosted their annual Quilt Show. The 22 acre Village is a step back in time to an Early American South Jersey rural Community. There are costumed craftsmen, tradesmen, housewives and farmers eager to share their experiences with you as you visit the 25 historic buildings. Historic Cold Spring Village is located at 720 Route 9 Cape May New Jersey 08204

On Quilt Show day, the Village is filled with quilts, quilting supplies , demonstrations and of course, the visitors choice quilt show. South Jersey Crazy Quilters were honored to participate for the second year. Members of the Guild showcased their Crazy quilts, both Antique and New, in one of the Historic buildings. This provided the perfect atmosphere for the display. Pictured here is a portion of our display.

Some of the members also set up outside for a weekend full of stitching and stories. Sharing their techniques with each other and quilt show visitors. At any given time a number of ladies could be caught sitting around the Antique Crazy Quilts with paper and pencil capturing the seam treatments and motifs for later inspiration!
