| This month features two floral motifs created using the Open Cretan
stitch. The spokes of Open Cretan make excellent stalks for flowers.
These two examples show using a Detached Chain Stitch (Lazy Daisy) and a
French Knot to create the flower and a fly stitch to create the calyx.
