It is difficult to believe that I am almost finished with this Edmar design.
I am one who has difficulty finishing projects, but I have worked diligently, stitching this design.
Verana is completed with the exception of one last flower (your upper left). I must admit that I am having trouble with the detached buttonhole stitch that the eight petals of this final flower call for. These petals start from a stitched bar and are totally suspended. I won't give up.... I will keep practicing until I master this elusive stitch. I have no problem with adding detached buttonhole stitches to existing flowers.....so I know I can master this. P & P (Patience and Practice).
I am anxious to finish the design, matting and framing it so that it can be entered in our State Fair this August.
