I don't like the color Orange. Carrot and pumpkin orange are my least favorite colors. However, I was challenged when my friend Carol sent me a block she had pieced in shades of ....yes! ORANGE!
Included in the package were lovely ribbons and threads. The block was a 12 inch square. I loved the great heart she had pieced and the color way was lovely. I decided to highlight the heart.
I resized the block to eight inches adding the Oriental print fabric.
This is one of my all time favorite blocks I have embellished. Many thanks
to Carol.
I can't say I don't like orange any more. Just carrot and pumpkin.
I'm just not going there with those two colors.
