This is a little wallquilt I have made in December 2006 for my daughters 42 th. birthday. The size is 19 inch square.
It is called "Those brown eyes"because all these women, 4 in a row, have brown eyes. My grandma, my mom, me and my daughter. I printed the photos on my home printer on cotton. On those photos we are all about 20 years old.
The pieces of bobbinlace on this quilt are made by me.
Exept the piece of bobbinlace round my mom's photo is made by her in the '30.
The brooche with the blue stone has belonged to my grandma.
The zodiac sign is Sagittarius. My daughter, mother and grandmother are sagittarius. The rest is my fantasy.
These are photos of a few of the Christmas ornaments I've made for my tree, which is done in all gold and white with lots of crochet.
Pink Lady
After my mother-in-law, RoyceAnn, passed away I put all of her scrap fabrics, ribbons, button, and beads into this crazy quilt, Pink Lady, for her best friend. It is a beautiful memorial and a work of art, just like RoyceAnn.
This block was made for my friend Julia.
Her theme was "Bugs in my Garden" Since I am a newbie to CQ / SRE, I am pleased with how the block
turned out. I had alot of fun working on it...actually I didn't want to stop ! LOL Hope you like it too ?
I was inspired to create a bead embroidered pumpkin for my sister, who hosted our Thanksgiving.
I didn't piece my wedges, but covered each seam with a different bead embroidered stitch and then made a bead-fringe collar for the top.
My husband and I worked on this purse together! He started to make me a CQ heart in Red on Red and then I took that and embellished it! Then together we turned it into an adorable Valentine's Purse!
