Supplies:
Directions:Insert hook through one hole in button. Yarn over and pull thread through, doing a slipstitch. Chain five.
Yarn over and pull thread through the same hole doing a slipstitch. Chain five. Repeat this step approximately five times. You’ll have five little petals in one buttonhole. Keep doing this until you have filled up all holes in the button. I usually go through the same hole five times.
Attach the end to the beginning top or bottom stitch with a slipstitch. Leave about eight to ten inches of thread hanging. Cut. The hanging thread is used to sew to your project. You can add tiny glass beads to the center for a real flower effect. Enjoy! Editor's note: These photos are shown full size as submitted by the author.
