Not exactly a square, but let's pretend! This pattern is for a stocking I pieced for a RR that we finished up early this year. I'm so happy with the beautiful embellishments that came through. The only embellishments I contributed were the laces and the Santa which is an image from my collection of Victorian scrap. I have included it with the pattern for you to use as desired. The pattern does not include seam allowance, so please add 1/2" - 5/8" all around the outside edge before you start piecing. Just follow the numbers. The pieces showing dashes are to be appliquéd, the rest are simple sew and flip. Santa looks better with a shadow piece and padding. (See CQMagOnline, July 2009.)

Clicking on the pattern image will direct you to a PDF file that will allow you to print the pattern actual size. There are two pages which will require you to match up the pattern and tape the pages together.

The credit for the embellishments goes to Rengin Yazitas of Istanbul, Turkey; Thusitha Ariyaratne of Gampaha, Sri Lanka; Shirlee Fassell of Longmeadow, Massachusetts; Reneta Datzova of Bellingham, Washington; and Melodie Lente of Pendleton, Oregon.

Thank you again, girls, I love it!!
