Vintage Design to Embroider

My mind is on hearts this issue, so here is a pretty vintage design I thought you'd enjoy using as a motif on one of your crazy quilt projects. As is my standard way, I used simple stitches throughout. Bullion Stitches were used for the petals of the larger flowers, French Knots for the smaller ones, and Outline Stitch with Lazy Daisies for the stems and leaves. What could be quicker? Three vintage flower buttons and beads here and there finished it off.

"Everything old is new again," and that saying continues year to year. If you have a pretty design you've borrowed from the past, why don't you send it in to this magazine and share your interpretation with others!!
