The first annual Quintessential Crazy Quilters’ Gathering held in May, 2010, is now a pleasant memory. Everyone who attended had fun, as did the teachers – and that’s what makes an event like this successful. Folks attended from six states: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.

The 2011 Gathering is on its way. Please check my website for details: www.sherrillmlewis.com. This Gathering will include art quilters as well, since the embellishment techniques cross over into other areas of fabric and fiber artists.

Date: July 8-10, 2011

Place: Clarion Meridian Hotel & Convention Center, Oklahoma City, OK

Teachers and classes:

  • De Crow: Flower Power – 21st Century style -- fiber necklace; How to embellish a fabric image
