The Complete Guide
Techniques for Making Flowers and Trimmings
Helen Gibb
ISBN: 0-87349-750-3

I finished reading the new book Ribbonwork, The Complete Guide by Helen Gibb. This book is fabulous and all of you that don't have it, should put it on your Christmas Wish list! You will love the ribbon flower "recipes" in this book! All of the instructions are so clear and understandable.

My favorite so far of the eleven easy projects in the back of the book is the Tin Can Pincushions. I have saved some small cans already and plan to make some of them.

The first project in the book I'm going to do is the brooch shown on the front cover. This is one of the ten more challenging projects shown.

Editor's Note: The book is 6 1/2" wide by 8" tall and hardcover opens to a metal spiral that lets the pages open flat. The perfect size for carrying with you. There are about a dozen easy projects and an equal number of more challenging projects.

The "Vintage Brooch with Buds" project is in this issue of CQMagOnline. The kit is available from Helen Gibb.
